The Work at Height Training Course has been uniquely designed to provide the participants the national and International regulations related to working at height in accordance to of art. 37 and art.111 D.lgs. n. 81/2008.
The training course for the safety of work at height includes 8 hours of training and consists of a theoretical part and a practical training during which the trainees will be required to demonstrate their level of understanding of the contents of the training program.
TOPICS OF THE COURSE
Theory (1+7 hours)
- Risk analysis – Study of the installation – Choice of PPE – Training
- Standards and Laws: Duties of the employer and the employee with regard to PPE
- Differences between jump and fall – Theoretical calculation: 2000 daN / 600 daN
- Objective: to always remain below 600 daN
- Avoid falling with the use of PPE
- Individual Protection Devices
- The anchors
- Connecting elements: cable, rail, rope fall arrester
- Harnesses: for work and safety
- Connectors
- Lanyards
- Harness
Practice (4 hours)
- Harness tests, adjustments, dressing
- Verification of PPE and their specific use according to the models
- Ascent-descent from carpentry structures and stairs: movements, stops, supports, holds, distribution of effort, psychological aspects
- Anchors on the structure: vertical, horizontal, oblique, using anchors in cat. B.
- Use of the double lanyard
- Use of positioning systems
- Fall arrest use on flexible support
- Use of tape reel
- Use of temporary anchors in cat. B (anchor straps)
- Completion of the main nodes
Final practice test
